Our Journey - Bobby Tikki Wala

As a Saying goes, “From humble beginnings, come great things” nowhere else this expression is better exemplified than in the story of Mr. BRIJ KISHORE GUPTA. In 1987, he started from selling fruits as a Mobile Hawker in Laxmi Nagar area of East Delhi.

Later as a small entrepreneurial dream in 2001, Mr. Brij Kishore Gupta boarded the very first Fruit Catering Service. After Successful catering service, he encouraged to start the complete catering service for Wedding Functions, Corporate Events, Birthday Party, Get together party and Other Events.

In 2003 Bobby Tikki Wala’s first shop was Opened in Preet Vihar East Delhi, Seeing the popularity and Love of the people for their Chaats, tikki, Bhalla Papdi, Gol- gappe etc. they opened up more outlets in East Delhi to serve More people.

Bobby Tikki Wala India Pvt. Ltd. Has got their name Registered as a Pvt. Ltd. Company 24 July 2008, under the directorships of Mr Brij Kishore Gupta, Pradeep Gupta, Naveen Gupta.

Now after making a good name in Catering and outlets, we started to serve the people by our Banquets Services. So in April 2011 we have started our First banquet with the Name of “Awadh Greens” Greater Noida from Apr 2011. After successful incorporation of the first banquet we started our other banquet halls namely “Hallmark Banquet” Karkarduma, Delhi — Aug 2013, “Diamond Banquet” Sector 51, Noida – Nov 2017, “Vishnu green” Lal Kuan Ghaziabad — Nov 2018.

We get the chance to serve the several clients in different domains with our catering and Banquet services.

Our epicure chefs craft exquisite cuisines combining the best of North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, Rajasthani, and Gujarati to name a few. And when it comes to international meals we have Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Lebanese, Mexican, International Grills and some very interesting mix cuisines on offer.

From Street Hawker to Architect of a Food Legacy

Every great empire has a humble beginning. For *Brij Kishore Gupta*, that beginning was not in a corporate boardroom or a family business legacy — it was on the busy streets of Laxmi Nagar, East Delhi.

In 1987, armed with little more than determination and an entrepreneurial spark, he began selling fruits as a mobile street hawker. The days were long, the earnings uncertain, and the challenges relentless. Yet, within those crowded lanes and daily struggles, a vision was quietly taking shape. He wasn’t just selling fruits — he was learning the fundamentals of business: customer trust, quality, consistency, and resilience.

By 2001, his hard work bore fruit — quite literally. He launched his first fruit catering service, supplying fresh produce for small gatherings. What began modestly soon evolved into full-scale catering for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. With every event, his confidence grew, and so did his reputation.

Then came a defining moment.

In 2007, he opened the very first Bobby Tikkiwala chaat shop on Vikas Marg in Preet Vihar, East Delhi. The beginning was quiet — even marked by zero sales in its earliest days. But Mr. Gupta was no stranger to patience. He understood that success is not built overnight; it is built plate by plate, customer by customer.

His unwavering focus on quality, taste, and service began to attract loyal patrons. In 2008, the growing venture was officially registered as a Private Limited company — a milestone that signaled not just growth, but transformation.

What followed was expansion fueled by vision. Five thriving branches emerged. Prestigious banquet venues such as Diamond Crown Banquets and Awadh Greens were launched. The brand scaled across Delhi’s competitive food landscape, generating revenues in crores and serving millions of satisfied guests.

Yet, despite the scale and success, Brij Kishore Gupta’s philosophy remains grounded in the lessons of his early days: never compromise on quality, respect every customer, and treat every opportunity as the first step of a bigger journey.

Today, alongside directors Pradeep Gupta and Naveen Gupta, he stands not just as a successful entrepreneur, but as a symbol of perseverance.
